Meerstrandläufer - He reaches a body length from 20 to 22 centimetres.
I have seen this pretty, small sandpiper till present only on Helgoland. This time I had the luck to approach so near. It blew a strong and ice-cold wind and the sea sandpiper ducked to the stones. He has counted on his camouflage so I could take a photo of ourselves him well.
Diesen hübschen, kleinen Strandläufer habe ich bis jetzt nur auf Helgoland gesehen. Diesmal hatte ich das Glück, so nahe heranzukommen. Es wehte ein starker und eiskalter Wind und der Meerstrandläufer duckte sich an die Steine. Er hat sich dabei voll auf seine Tarnung verlassen uns so konnte ich ihn gut fotografieren.
Er erreicht eine Körperlänge von 20 bis 22 Zentimeter.
